Zachary Thomas
Zachary (“Zack”) Thomas joined Mindell Law as a law clerk in September 2023 and became a sworn-in attorney after passing the Uniform Bar Exam. Zack has supported many cases, including automobile negligence, slip-and-fall, trip-and-fall, premises liability, and general negligence cases.
Before deciding on a legal career, Zack obtained his Master of Public Administration from Oakland University and served as the University’s elected Student Body President. He worked for several years in the public administration field, where his primary focus was election administration and boards and commissions management.
Thereafter, Zack pursued his Juris Doctor at Wayne State University Law School, where he was admitted on a full-tuition scholarship. There, among many excellent peers, Zack earned the top section score in his Legal Research and Writing course. Ultimately, he maintained a 3.76 grade point average and graduated with Cum Laude academic honors. In terms of extra-curriculars, Zack served as the voting student representative on the Budget and Finance Committee of the Wayne State University Board of Governors. Zack also interned with the Wayne State University Office of the General Counsel, volunteered as a clinic student on the law school’s Community Advocacy Clinic, and worked for Chapman Law Group as an estate planning and administration law clerk.
In his free time, Zack is a serious athlete. He trains to compete in local 5K races and teaches many styles of ballroom dances to aspiring collegiate ballroom dancers.
